Apply for Accreditation

Join the ILDA network of independently certified memorial diamond laboratories. The accreditation process ensures your facility meets the highest standards of scientific integrity and ethical transparency.

The Process

Four Stages to Certification

I.

Application

Submit the preliminary application with laboratory documentation, staff credentials, and equipment specifications. Initial application fee: €1,500 (non-refundable, covers document review).

II.

Documentation Review

ILDA reviews chain-of-custody protocols, spectroscopic equipment calibration records, and quality control procedures. Timeline: 4–6 weeks. Review fee: €3,000.

III.

On-Site Audit

Independent inspectors conduct an unannounced on-site visit to verify physical facilities, observe live synthesis processes, and interview technical staff. Audit fee: €5,000–€8,000 depending on location and facility size.

IV.

Certification

Upon successful completion, the laboratory receives provisional accreditation, followed by full accreditation after 12 months of sustained compliance. Annual membership dues: €2,400. Full members receive ILDA seal licensing and Global Registry integration.
